Jack Jaehyung Choe

My name is Jack Choe and I was born and raised in South Korea. My grandmother is Japanese and I have lived a few years in Japan. I came to Norway in 2016.

I attended a sports university in Seoul, and my main subject was physical activity and health with emphasis on swimming, weight training and nutrition. I have been a member of a K-pop boy group and I have been teaching K-pop dance in Korea and Australia, and in Norway the last years. In Korea I used to be a PT and swimming coach.

Except from my interest in K-pop and music, I love to travel and meet people and learn about other cultures. So far I have been to 47 countries. I also love to make Korean food for my friends.

I love to share my own culture with Norwegian students, and I really love the concept of going to school without having exams and grades. It is a great opportunity to enjoy K-pop together. The most important thing to me is to have fun, enjoy together and express ourselves through dance.
